A troubled soul

A project close to Gavin's heart due to the personal experiences of growing up with a parent with Bipolar. It is a collection of images highlighting how loneliness, grief, trauma or mental illness can situate in an individual's daily life.

The hue of the red light in each image reflects a metaphorical heaviness that is present upon the individual in each scenario.

Gavin wanted to create a series of pictures in which most people can personally resonate with, whilst powerfully shining a light on a subject that requires more attention, resources and help for many.
